Kanellos is a corporate lawyer with international experience in company law, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.
He advises a diverse range of clients across sectors including banking, healthcare, defence, energy, financial services, insurance, state-owned entities, information technology, manufacturing and industrials, as well as food service and hospitality. He is regularly instructed on complex corporate decision-making, cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, shareholder arrangements, corporate restructurings, and corporate disputes. Kanellos is frequently sought out in high-stakes situations, including governance crises, board and shareholder disputes, control transactions, succession planning, and the entry of new investors.
His practice also encompasses compliance and internal audit matters, including investigations, as well as the design and implementation of internal corporate policies and governance frameworks. He further advises on financial transactions, including debt financing, share pledging, and securitisation schemes.
