Due to our Firm’s international reach, we also have experience in working closely with international law firms in order to help them understand the particularities of the Greek market.

Our portfolio includes local and international clients from a broad range of sectors, including financial services and banking, retail, tourism, energy, health and pharmaceuticals, media, aviation, telecommunications, e-commerce, IT, and shipping. We have experience on listed and non-listed companies of any kind (general partnerships, corporations, limited liability partnerships) and of any shareholder structure, ranging from non-listed family-owned businesses and closely held small star-ups to investment funds, state-owned entities, private equity firms and listed corporations with dispersed ownership. We provide advice to companies, managers, shareholders, compliance officers, investment funds, governments, and institutional investors.

Our services include the provision of assistance and legal advice for any corporate matter reaching from day-to-day issues to more complex transactions. Pertaining to the former, we regularly advise domestic and international clients on issues like company formation in Greece, establishment of branches, drafting of Articles of Association and shareholders’ agreements, corporate governance (e.g. by drafting internal regulations and policies), bookkeeping and the promotion of the ESG agenda and corporate social responsibility. We also represent our clients to any kind of contentious and non-contentious matter and negotiation, such as judicial proceedings for BoD liability, shareholders’ disputes (e.g. regarding proxy solicitation and void or voidable resolutions of the shareholders’ meeting), asset deals, share deals, takeover bids, domestic or cross-border mergers, divisions and spin-offs. Finally, we have regularly been involved in cases regarding restructuring and insolvency, compliance (e.g. by offering seminars to our clients and their employees), the succession planning of family-owned businesses and the crisis management of various corporate events (e.g. conflicts of interests of BoD members and takeover bids).
