Manos focuses on matters of importance to financial institutions and is an expert on regulatory and supervisory aspects of the capital market legal framework. He acts for credit institutions, investment banks, asset managers and businesses on the perimeter of the financial services sector.

He has a long-standing experience guiding domestic and foreign investment firms and credit institutions through the maze of procedures required for entry into the Greek banking and investment services market, either in the context of the establishment and authorization or in the context of cross border services. Furthermore, Manos provides legal advice on applicable organizational requirements and business conduct rules, AML/CTF obligations and contractual relationships pertaining to the provision of financial and other related services, the relationships with market infrastructure organizations and any other aspect of the institutions’ operation.

Manos acts for corporate clients and individuals in commercial and corporate transactions with a focus on corporate law, capital operations, private equity and public securities transactions, and legal and regulatory requirements related to public offerings and obligations deriving from transactions in listed securities.

His primary clients include international banks, investment firms, asset management firms and listed companies.

Manos has considerable expertise in financial services liability disputes and capital market sanctions proceedings before the supervisory authorities.

In the past, he participated in working groups for the drafting of legislative and/or regulatory provisions, in particular in the context of the amendment of the Greek law for the recapitalization of credit institutions in 2013-14.
